Hangar Performing Arts Center

Rivertime Players stage all performances, besides the Toby Show, at the Hangar Performing Arts Center at 253 W Ninth Street in Parsons.

The Hangar PAC

 

Once an airplane maintenance hangar at the now closed Scott-Gibson Airfield, this facility has been renovated into a 237 seat proscenium theatre.

Seating

Seating for most shows is General Admission. Tickets for shows at The Hangar can be purchased at the Box Office before each performance. We accept cash, checks, VISA, Master Card, Discovery, American Express, ApplePay and GooglePay. Tickets can also be purchased online in advance, look for a link on the individual show page. There is a non-refundable $1.39 per ticket processing fee for online orders. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at Will Call, emailed for print at home, or sent via SMS to you and your companions free of charge.

Addmission Times

For most performances, the lobby, box office and concessions will open one hour prior to the performance. The auditorium will open 30 minutes prior to the performance.

Accessibility

We are committed to making our performances available to everyone in the community. Please notify us of any special needs when purchasing your tickets and we will attempt to accomodate. Wheelchair-accessible and companion seats are subject to availability. The restrooms in the lobby are ADA compliant. The theatre is equipped with a RF (radio) technology assisted listening system. Receivers and ear speakers are available at the Box Office. Neck loops are available for patrons who have T-coil enabled hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Food & Beverage

We offer a variety of concessions at our performances which may include hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, candy, sodas, coffee and bottled water. Unless noted at specific performances, concessions are allowed in the theatre.

No Smoking/Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any part of the Hangar Performing Arts Center, unless it is part of a theatrical performance.

We look forward to seeing you at the Hangar Performing Arts Center. The Hangar is located one mile from downtown Parsons at the end of West Ninth Street on the former Scott-Gibson Airfield property. There is ample free parking at the theatre.
